The blaze began at about 10 p.m. on the 5600 block of Pemberton Street in the city's Cobbs Creek neighborhood. Firefighters battled flames for over an hour before the inferno was brought under control, the department said.

One person was treated for injuries, they added. The cause of the fire was not given.

It was a busy end to a busy day for Philly's Fire Department, which responded to 674 medical incidents, 158 fire incidents, and seven working blazes on Sunday alone, officials said.
